Why Choose Us
The winery was founded in 1965 by Don Jose and Don Mariano Vargas, the sons of Spanish immigrants. They settled in the province of Mendoza with a clear goal in mind: to continue with a tradition linked to one of the oldest cultures in the world.
To that purpose, they chose a region with one of the best soil and climate conditions of Southamerica: the Eastern Region of Viticultural Argentina
At present, Jose Daniel Vargas, a deeply commited businessman, has given the winery a decisive turn, achieving international profile with his varietal wines
Vineyard reconversion, following a world tendency in noble varietals, incorporation of latest technology, set out to obtain premium wines, and a philosophy of work based on the respect for Nature, are the founding concepts of Sucesores de Jose Vargas
